As the most important part of the Mediterranean Diet, it's no surprise that olive oil is the healthiest fat in the world. It doesn't only contain healthy fatty acids but also antioxidant substances that fight cardiac diseases and other chronic diseases. Apricots are especially helpful for people with irregular digestive systems. They help regulate bowel movement thanks to the fiber they contain. All dried fruits are good source of plant-based iron.
